Welcome To Scoil Rince Chill Dara
Scoil Rince Chill Dara have educated dancers of all ages and levels for over 25 years, under the direction of Carmel Somers (A.D.C.R.G), Alan McCormack (T.C.R.G) and Nicola Behan (T.C.R.G).
- The school's distinguished instructors have enormous teaching and performing experience in both this country and abroad.
- In our opinion, Irish Dancing is more than a hobby, it is a way of life. As a parent/guardian you are giving your child a wonderful opportunity. Through Irish Dancing, they will develop and nurture the skills, confidence and abilities that are needed to succeed in modern day life.
- As qualified teachers with An Comhdháil (the largest Irish Dancing organisation in Ireland, operating under a strict child protection policy), we will do our utmost to ensure that your child enjoys every aspect of Irish Dancing. While it is an excellent past time, it is also a way for children to learn respect, self discipline, good behaviour and how to interact with other people in a positive way.
- Students study a full curriculum geared to both competitive and recreational dancing. Students are trained to develop strength and endurance with emphasis on technique, style and posture.
- Classes are offered in both Solo and Figure dancing.
- We cater for every level of dancer, from those that attend once a week for a bit of fun to those who attend 5 times a week for competitve dancing.
- As a result of the dedication of the teachers, trainee teachers and dancers alike - we are one of the most successful schools around with numerous titles including South Leinster, Leinster & All Ireland Championships under our belt. Check out our achievements!!
